In downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin they have some great holiday lights in the same area they do their famed Jazz in the Park, Cathedral Square. They just took the lights down the other day so I’m now nostalgically looking at this 2-week old photo 🙂
Buckley Idea Genesis Logo
Buckley Idea Genesis, LLC is my Dad’s physical product sourcing, engineering, and design company.
My Dad and I came up with the concept for the logo, I did the design and background photo, and my friend Dave Kiehl of Harvest Motion Design, LLC did the modeling and 3D-composite.
Logo sketch I did by hand (super high-tech highlighters and regular pens) to work off of:
Rough vector logo I did based on above sketch:
I did this straight-on view for Dave to convert this into a 3D model in Cinema 4D:
Lettering I did by itself:
Happy Holidays!
Here’s a holiday ecard I made for Buckley Fence. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and had a great year!
I took the photos at a Buckley Fence install in Illinois. Super nice and welcoming owners. (See photos from shoot here.)
On the left their horses are rolling on their backs for relief after having saddles on them for a training session. On the right is my Dad petting a horse while inserting lock-spacers (keep the rails in place) into fence posts.
Light Painting
I just tried doing light painting the other day. Pretty fun process and I expect to use it again.
The photos are made with one exposure and one flashlight I held.

Illinois Horse Ranch Photos
Below are some of the horse fence photos I took near Chicago at a black 4-rail Buckley Steel Board Fence install. This is a top-of-the-line horse fence my Dad invented.
You can see all of the photos in the album.
