First time at Wrigley!

Finally made it to Wrigley Field!
Below is a photo story of my trip: 2 Cubs fans and 2 Brewers fan (myself included) going to the Cubs vs. Brewers game.

Enjoying the summer weather while waiting for my friend to pick me up in Milwaukee in the morning.
Waiting to be Picked Up in Milwaukee

Waiting at O’Hare to pick-up a friend. We got yelled at a few times by the pick-up zone ladies. They weren’t messing around 😛

My friend is tired of waiting for the friend we’re picking up…

Made it to Chicago and parked about half a mile from Wrigley Field. Two cubs fans vs. myself and my friend Mike in the Corey Hart jersey.
The boys are back in town…

Making our way inside after my sunscreen got hijacked by the entry guards. The guy behind me had a 70-200mm Canon L-series (pro) lens on his DSLR (I’m using a 24-70mm Canon L-series) and hopefully he made it through gate check, they were calling over the supervisor to make a decision as I entered Wrigley. There were a couple people inside Wrigley with long-lenses, but no one with a pro-end lens.

I’ve never had any trouble at Miller Park bringing any of my cameras or lenses in.

Made it to a patio with a great breeze on a hot and humid day (I love the heat).

What a great looking field… sold out game… fans stay the whole time…

Patio break for some fresh air and a great view.

Checking out the upper deck. Not a bad view anywhere in the stadium.

Post-game in Wrigleyville… the rivalry continues…

Distracted by the sweet lights on the ceiling…
Cool Shit on Bar Ceiling

You can imagine how exhausting dealing with these idiots all day can be 😛
This is What I had to Deal With

Walking to a different Wrigleyville bar. The guys laugh in the bottom right kills me.

What an awesome sign and entrance.

Time to head back to Wisco…

Thunderstorms and ridiculous 80’s music kept us entertained on the way back.

THE END! Thanks for reading!

P.S. Here’s a short video from the day:

Brewers Game Photos

Went to the Brewers vs. Cubs game on the 19th during a beautiful day.
Brewers pulled out an exciting 5-3 win at Miller Park.

Gomez Bobblehead Day Photos

Below are photos I took at Miller Park during Carlos Gomez Bobblehead Day (April 27, 2014 — his jersey is #27, see what they did there?).
Sat in section 328. Braun and Segura were on timeout for dugout shenanigans I believe. Brewers lost the game 4-0 to the Cubbies, but it was a great time.

So I knew I wanted to get a shot with the banner M lined up over the Miller Park M and the lightpole over the I (super genius, I know), but it was tough to sneak in for a shot without getting run over.

So I didn’t line the shot up as perfect as I wanted. And the guy in the lower right kept gawking at me like a crazy person.

But I feel like I won that battle when I put my sig over him.

Victory.

This is me cautiously leaning over the railing like a sissy.

This cup isn’t ironic at all.

Oh, so the Cubs think they can play small ball and beat us?
Well, apparently they can.

Bobblehead Gomez with some great defense.

Shot of the park from my seat. Over 45,000 in attendance for the Sunday day game.

Everyone loves the Klements races! And this time it was a relay!

Another super-genius idea I had: get Gomez Bobblehead in foreground while he’s at bat.

See all the photos from Gomez Bobblehead Day in the flickr set here.
