Finally made it to Wrigley Field!
Below is a photo story of my trip: 2 Cubs fans and 2 Brewers fan (myself included) going to the Cubs vs. Brewers game.
Enjoying the summer weather while waiting for my friend to pick me up in Milwaukee in the morning.
Waiting at O’Hare to pick-up a friend. We got yelled at a few times by the pick-up zone ladies. They weren’t messing around 😛
My friend is tired of waiting for the friend we’re picking up…
Made it to Chicago and parked about half a mile from Wrigley Field. Two cubs fans vs. myself and my friend Mike in the Corey Hart jersey.
The boys are back in town…
Making our way inside after my sunscreen got hijacked by the entry guards. The guy behind me had a 70-200mm Canon L-series (pro) lens on his DSLR (I’m using a 24-70mm Canon L-series) and hopefully he made it through gate check, they were calling over the supervisor to make a decision as I entered Wrigley. There were a couple people inside Wrigley with long-lenses, but no one with a pro-end lens.
I’ve never had any trouble at Miller Park bringing any of my cameras or lenses in.
Made it to a patio with a great breeze on a hot and humid day (I love the heat).
What a great looking field… sold out game… fans stay the whole time…
Mike and I selfie. Note that is not a weird sweat stain on me (lower right of frame).
Patio break for some fresh air and a great view.
Checking out the upper deck. Not a bad view anywhere in the stadium.
Phone photo by a very nice and vocal Pirates fan. Photo edit by me.
Mike in Brewers jersey and me (camera right).
Post-game in Wrigleyville… the rivalry continues…
Distracted by the sweet lights on the ceiling…
You can imagine how exhausting dealing with these idiots all day can be 😛
Walking to a different Wrigleyville bar. The guys laugh in the bottom right kills me.
What an awesome sign and entrance.
Time to head back to Wisco…
Thunderstorms and ridiculous 80’s music kept us entertained on the way back.
THE END! Thanks for reading!
My Dad/Buckley Fence founder Jim Buckley was briefly at a new install of our 4-rail black Steel Board at the new UGA College of Veterinary Medicine teaching hospital.
My Dad shot the impromptu photos and video on his phone, but I was still able to make them come alive with coloring, retouching, and cropping. Giving you a great feel for this amazing new facility opening this Wednesday, March 25 in Athens, Georgia, USA.
Took some fireworks photos of Festa Italiana’s display during the last night of the fest July 2014. Taken from the water just outside of the Lake Shore Park launch area, downtown Milwaukee on LakeMichigan. As well as of the Big Bang from near the War Memorial and Milwaukee Art Museum.
The people on the boat in front of us seemed to have a great and romantic time:
The boat-cops scoping us out before the fireworks (we did get yelled at for being too close earlier):

Aaaaand some shots from the Big Bang (which was rescheduled twice due to fog):
